The farm I Moresani is located in the middle of the green Cilento. This is not just a farm by name; it is a traditional and family run agricultural business! The entire family works on the farm and with its 15 hectares there are enough jobs for everybody. It also produces the good food that is served in the restaurant.
Sheep, goats, pigs, chicken, cows, rabbits and turkeys are all around here. The farm also produces olive oil and wine and grows fruit and vegetables. It is not many things the family needs to bring in from outside for their cooking. The traditional regional food dominates the restaurant, so lovers of French cuisine should stay away. The preparation and serving is simple, the helpings large and the taste excellent! When you have always made good marmalade, wonderful goat's cheeses, delicious sausages and baked your own fresh bread in a wood burning stone-oven, why then change?
But the farm has become too big, even for the large family, and modern mechanization means that not quite so many labourers are needed on the farm any longer. Therefore two of the farmhouses have been converted to guest accommodation for people who want to enjoy the surroundings a bit longer than the time it takes to eat a meal (and that is quite some time…). The houses are approx. 150 m from each other. One is by the restaurant, and the other has the swimming pool just outside the door. All guests are, of course, welcome to use the swimming pool.
