Holiday in Como

Como is a largish city with many companies and factories. Earlier, Como was famous for its many small silk manufacturers. Later, these many manufacturers were merged into larger companies, which can still today be found in the town.

The industrial areas are south of the city, away from the lake, so fortunately there is still a charming lakefront with a beautiful promenade.

We recommend a visit to the Giardini Pubblici park, from where there is a sensational view of the lake.
