This small but very beautiful area is located towards the south in the hills over Limone.
The view over
Lake Garda, Monte Baldo and
Malcesine is breathtaking. From Limone you can take the winding mountain road up to Tremosine from where you can see the green slopes used for agriculture.
There are a number of smaller towns located in the Tremosine area, but Limone is the largest. You can also travel from here over to Tignale and then down to Gargnano.
If you’re hoping to do a lot of sight-seeing then this is not the best area, as you will have to take the same road in and out of Tremosine, as well as the same route along
Lake Garda to reach any planned destination. The area is better suited for shorter trips down to Limone, and perhaps some boating to explore the lake.
