Holiday in Portonovo

This former fishing hamlet is at the foot of Monte Conero. There was no development here for many years, because there was just a narrow footpath linking the town to the rest of the surrounding area. Nowadays though, it is a seaside town with lots of facilities for all the family. If you feel like a bit of culture, we recommend a visit to the Santa Maria di Portonovo church from the middle of the 12th century.
