Marche has a number of well-preserved Roman monuments including theatres and triumphal arches. They are proof of the region's long history.
In many places well-preserved medieval monuments including castles and palaces can still be found. Many towns also have unmistakable signs from the Renaissance period.
The place has been restored and furnished in country style. There is plenty of space by the vicarage and the farmhouse for relaxing, playing boccia or swimming in the new pool.
Mario and his wife Eriberta own and manage the farm. They have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Around the apartments there is a great park and a garden with roses and pomegranates as well as a swimming pool.
The Chignoni farm is located in the hills around Apecchio, approx 5 km from the main road towards Città di Castello. It enjoys a beautiful position with lovely views over lush green woods. The farm stretches for more than 200 hectares with woods and pasture.
