Urbania, on the River Metauro, is a charming town with a lively cultural scene. There is a respected language school, annual literature prizes, and a thriving ceramics production that dates all the way back to the 16th century.
This area is still largely undiscovered and– as the name suggests – famous for its truffles that can be picked here all year round. The valleys, located in lands once belonging to the powerful Renaissance family, the Montefeltros, is characterized by rolling hills and streams which are great for swimming.
