Urbino is one of Italy’s architectural treasures. In the 17th century it was the home of one of Europe’s most extravagant courts.

The greatest painters, poets, philosophers and thinkers of the age gathered here in what was one of Italy’s most beautiful Renaissance palaces. This town is fantastic and overwhelming in its well-preserved splendour. If at all possible, you should make time for a visit.
