Cecilia Bed & breakfast is located along the road to Cabras in the small village of Solanas. Cabras is approx. 1 km away and here you find restaurants, shops and cafés. The charming Cecilia has renovated the family house and converted some rooms for tourists who want to discover this unknown corner of Sardinia.
The bedrooms are elegantly furnished, delightfully arranged and spacious. They all have air conditioning and TV as well as en suite bathroom. Most of them have access to a narrow terrace although it is not possible to sit here.

In an old barn in the garden Cecilia has arranged a restaurant open for guests and locals alike. If you do not want to eat here there are several restaurants in Cabras, but we would recommend you try the house wine – a true Vernaccia – grown by Cecilia's husband nearby. A heavy white wine like that is not easily found anywhere else but in Sardinia.
Breakfast is served in the host family's dining room. Coffee and cake is the norm according to Italian tradition, but Cecilia is happy to serve bread, cornflakes, fruit, milk and cheese.
The place is recommended to those who want a homely atmosphere and are not afraid of contact with the owners. Please note that the road by the house carries local traffic during the day but is very quiet at night.
