Residence Alla Giudecca is nothing less than a fantastic historic building situated in Syracuse's most inspiring area, i.e. the Ortigia peninsula.
![]()
![]() The building is a 16th century historic palace and today it houses 24 1- and 2-room apartments. It stands in the heart of Ortigia in between narrow and charming streets. The building is very beautiful ...and the large public rooms are simply sensational. Read more about Alla Giudecca

![]() Underneath the actual building an old Jewish public bath, a so-called miqwé, has recently been excavated. It was built during Sicily's Byzantine period, and is Europe's most significant miqwé. Guests at Alla Giudecca may visit the public bath. ![]() ![]() Alla Giudecca has been thoroughly restored and all the apartments are fitted with satellite TV, safe deposit box and air conditioning. However, we should point out that kitchen facilities comprise of a kitchenette with 2 hot plates. The apartments on site are unspecified and consequently you cannot book a particular one in the property. ![]() ![]() We recommend Residence Alla Giudecca to couples who want to experience a magnificent piece of history in a historically endowed city. The place does accept children (children under 2 sleep free, children under 6 get 30% discount), but we would not recommend the place to families with children.
