Greetings from Belgrade, Yes, we have returned from Italy last week and are still sorting our impressions and photos. Our stay at the Santa Fee residence was most enjoyable. The girls at the agency and the staff at the residence were very cooperative. The accomodation was spacious, clean and well maintained, we found the dishes and kitchenware more than sufficient, there was even a cork-screw and an onion squeezer, so we think there is no need to bring any cooking/eating utencils. The building has a lovely garden area with plenty of greenery and flowers. The building also has it's own parking area where we had no trouble finding a parking space. The general impression is that the hosts take their obligations very seriously and are doing their best to please all their guests. The beach area is extrremely well maintained, with sanitary and dressing facilities and cafees all along the several kilometers long promernade lungomare dividing the beach from the hotels. Lido di Jesolo as a town has a nice relaxed atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. It also offers an impressing nature museum, aquarium and reptiliarium. Along with a sand figure exhibition, aquapark, amusement park and other numerous possibilities, we would strongly recommend this location for families with children up to early teenage age. The restaurants are numerous, we tried several and were generally pleased, concentrate on Italian cuisine. I have only one small suggestion, it would be a great help if the girls at the agency could supply more relevant information concerning general tourist information, wireless internet connection, public boat transport to Venice and the vother islands and the like, this would save guests the walks to the tourist offices.
