The Veneto is situated in the northeast corner of Italy and is a region which has much to offer the visitor. Magnificent and interesting towns such as
Verona, Padova,
Vicenza, and
Venice all have their own attractions and are just one way of experiencing this part of Italy. There are about 4.8 million people throughout the region and it has
Venice as its "capital".

The landscape is also beautiful. Just imagine the rolling hills around
Verona or the River Adige, which runs through the countryside, the wonderful mountains in the north and the wide sandy beaches in the coastal areas. Neither should we forget
Lake Garda and its beautiful natural surroundings. This is probably why, Veneto is the most visited region throughout Italy.

This fascinating region offers a variety of experiences: the romance of the big city, beautiful architecture, historical remains, a relaxing holiday by the sea or lake and wonderful scenery in the mountains and lowlands.
We must also mention the great wines such as Amarone and Valpolicella and the many great culinary delights which the Veneto has to offer.
