Podere La Pieve Vecchia is an n old farm dating back to the late 18th century. The now completely restored farm buildings sit peacefully in the Tuscan hills around Riparbella and maintain the old charm and atmosphere of their original state.

The Farm has wonderful gardens and is surrounded by olive trees giving that real country feel, yet it is only 4 km from Riparbella and 7 km from Cecina where there are sandy beaches and large pine forests. ...It is also close enough to take a day trip to the more famous medieval towns of Tuscany if you have a car and can pry yourself away from all that is relaxing. The road between Cecina and Volterra passes close to the farm, so some traffic can be heard.

The accommodation is found in different buildings across the farm, what was once a barn now contains hotel rooms, the old stables are now house 4 apartments with the rest of the apartments in the main building or in the newly constructed house. All the 37 apartments are stylish and well furnished and are situated on the ground floor, first floor or split over both. Each has satellite tv, phone, safe and a garden with table and chairs.

There are many facilities at the disposal of guests including two swimming pools for adults and children, playground, barbecue, tennis court plus hire of bikes and mountain bikes. Any information or assistance can be gained from the friendly reception staff. There is also a small restaurant which serves authentic dishes using locally grown produce.

As Cecina is so close, it is easy to take a trip in to town to try one of the many restaurants, bars and night clubs or if you need it you can also find a market and pharmacist in the town centre.

- The 3-room apartment sleep 5 on two floors is situated in the converted stable buildings. It consists of a living room with kitchenette and single sofa bed at ground florr. The first floor consists of bedroom with double bed, bedroom with two single beds and bathroom.

- The 3-room apartments sleep 6 and are on two floors. They are very spacious apartments situated in the renovated owner's villa. On the ground floor there is a large living room with double sofa bed and kitchenette. On the first floor there is a bedroom with double bed, bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and balcony.
4-room apartment sleeps 8 (on two floors)
- The 4-room apartment consists of a large living room with double sofa bed and kitchenette, bedroom with double bed, single sofa bed, bedroom with two single beds, bedroom with one single bed, bathroom and balcony.
