Tirrenia is just a few kilometers from
Pisa and Livorno. It has a wide beach with fine sand with a large pine forest leading up to it.
You can find an array of shops and services in Tirrenia, including many restaurants, pizzerias, kiosks, pharmacies, supermarkets, discos, a post office and an amusement park.
In the evenings, the beachfront is teeming with locals enjoying a drink or an ice cream at one of the many beachfront bars.
For the active traveler, there are numerous sports activities on offer, such as tennis, football, and basketball and, of course, beach volleyball and surfing. There are also 2 golf courses nearby, a 9-hole course and an 18-hole course.
