Forte Sorgnano

In the green heart of Umbria, between Todi, Assisi and Perugia, you find the farm Forte Sorgnano. The farm consists of farmhouses dating back to the end of the 19th century. They have recently been restored and converted to eight comfortable 2-room apartments and three rustic bedrooms.

Amenities at Forte Sorgnano include a lovely swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, mountain bike hire, shared barbecue, garden table and chairs in the garden, table tennis and shared washing ...machine. The nearest restaurant is 1.5 km from the farm. Horse riding and tennis is available 4 km away.

The land belonging to Forte Sorgnano covers 208 hectares of which 180 are covered by mixed woodlands (oak, chestnut and pine). The remaining 28 hectares are covered by century old olive groves, which have been extended by more than 1000 young olive trees. The olive grove has never been given chemical fertiliser and the excellent olive oil on site is produced exclusively in the Gualdo Cattaneo olive press. The farm also produces honey.

The apartments all have good furniture in the classic mid-Italian rustic style. They are around 60 m˛ and all have private entrance.

- Apartment Portico is on the ground floor and consists of a living room with kitchenette and double sofa bed plus fireplace, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with toilet and shower.
- Apartment Uliveto is on the ground floor and consist of a living room with double sofa bed, kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower and own garden.
- Apartment Ginepro is on the ground floor and consist of a living room with double sofa bed, kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower and own garden.
- Apartment Granaio is on two floors (the ground floor and first floor). It consists of a living room with fireplace and double sofa bed, kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower and own garden space.
- apartment Torre is on the first floor and consists of a living room with fireplace and double sofa bed, kitchen, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with toilet and shower.
- Apartment Belvedere is on the first floor and consists of a living room with kitchenette and fireplace plus double sofa bed, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with toilet and shower plus balcony.
The rooms are all on the first floor in the smallest building and look over the olive plantation. They are 25 m˛ and have bathroom with toilet and shower, airconditioning, heating and TV. There are two ordinary double rooms and one suite with a small living room.
