The island of Capri is the jewel in the crown of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The island in the bay of Naples is an exclusive destination for celebrities from all over the world. It is not much bigger than 10 km² and consists for the most part of limestone shaped by the wind and sea into mountain peaks, slopes and fantastic landscapes.
The climate is mild and dry, and the vegetation is mainly fertile forests, orange groves and vineyards. It is a protected natural habitat sustaining countless types of life both on land and in water. Special mention should be made of the blue lizard which is only found on one of the three islands by Capri.
