This atmospheric farm enjoys a rural location 3 km from Rosano sull'Arno. The large villa is typically Tuscan and its towering profile is visible from both the Arno- and the Vicano-valley.

The farm was once a fortified village, but today it has rustic apartments and offers an eventful holiday in the hills a short distance from Florence. The farm produces large amounts of olive oil and wine, which is for sale at the reception or in the restaurant, open 2-3 evenings a week.

The apartments are either in the main building, the newer Girasoli or in the two nearby farmhouses I Rustici and L'Oliveta. Both farmhouses are approx. 500 m from the main building. A swimming pool is approx. 100 m from the apartments and parking is available by the house. You can request accommodation either in the main building or the more rurally located farmhouses, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee the location.

The farm has a garden, two swimming pools (one by the main building and one between I Rustici and L'Oliveta). The pools are 17 x 7 m and 15 x 5 m respectively. The largest is 75-135 cm deep and the smaller one 90-135 cm deep. Other amenities include tennis court, bike hire, horse riding and laundry room. In addition to home made olive oil, wine and honey, other delicacies and specialities are also for sale. Once a week there is a conducted tour around the farm.

The place is particularly recommended to families who will find plenty of entertainment and activities for children and teenagers, a pleasant environment full of Tuscan atmosphere and spectacular views over the vineyards. There are good opportunities for excursions to well known towns including Florence, Siena, Vallombrosa, Reggello, San Gimignano and Greve in Chianti, which are all under an hour's drive.

Apartment Magnolia is on the first floor of the main building and has a beautiful view of the swimming pool. This very spacious apartment consists of a living room with fireplace and two sofa beds (both sleep one), separate kitchen, two bedrooms with double bed, bedroom with two single beds and two bathrooms, one with shower, the other with bath tub. The apartment has a private terrace with garden furniture.

Apartment Lapo sleeps 11

Apartment Lapo is on the first floor of the main building with a view of the swimming pool and vineyards. The apartment is large and has three bedrooms with double bed and single bed, each with a private bathroom with shower, living room with a sofa bed (sleeps two) and separate kitchen.

The tower sleeps 11

The tower is just outside the fort. It covers 4 floors (including the ground floor). On the ground floor there is a living room with kitchenette and dishwasher. A wide staircase leads up to the first floor where there is one bedroom with double bed and single bed. On the second floor there is also one bedroom with double bed and single bed. On the third floor there are two bedrooms, one with double bed and single bed, the other with two single beds. All bedrooms have their own bathroom with shower.

Belvedere sleeps 9

Belvedere is situated on the first floor in the central complex and enjoys a beautiful view of the entire valley. It consists of an enormous kitchen-dining room with fireplace and sofa bed, two bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with two single beds, one bedroom with a single bed plus two bathrooms, one with shower, the other with bath tub.
