If you want something out of the ordinary in Tuscany, quite unique, and not far from the coast, then Villa Irene is it.
This impressive villa is from the beginning of the 1900s and architecturally it is a mixture of art nouveau and fascist architecture, similar to other villas in the area. It appears elegant, but also slightly bombastic, as it stands there in its fine park with fountains, granite staircase and a swimming pool.
The villa can accommodate 24 people and is situated in beautiful rural countryside 11 km from the sea and 1 km from the small town Pomaia.
- On the ground floor there is a large hall, two living rooms, kitchen with hot plates, dining room, bedroom sleeping two, and two bathrooms.
- On the first floor there is a big corridor, five bedrooms sleeping two in each (one of them is quite small), and three bathrooms.
- On the second floor there is also a big corridor, four bedrooms each sleeping two, three bathrooms – two of which can be closed off and used as en suites from the bedrooms, small lounge with kitchenette, and small living room with views over the surrounding landscape.
The villa also has garden furniture, pavillion and parking space.
It is possible to have an extra bed made up in some bedrooms making it possible to sleep uo to 26 people plus 4 people in the adjacent annex. Satellite TV is installed in the living rooms and all the bedrooms.
Near Villa Irene (approx. 100 m) is the farm La Pieve di Pomaia, and here there are a number of facilities freely available to guests from Villa Irene. They include a pizzeria, restaurant, bar, swimming pool, children's pool, table tennis, laundry room, bike hire, and children's club.
