Agriturismo Le Capanne is set 336 m above sea level and has the most wonderful views over the hills east of Castiglion Fiorentino. A feature of the area are the olive groves, vineyards and oak woods. The place is in the Chio valley, 20 km from Arezzo, 10 km from Cortona and approx. 35 km from Montepulciano. Obvious excursion destinations would include the neighbouring regions of Umbria and Marche.

Le Capanne produces organic olive oil, good quality wine and a range of fruit, which guests are welcome to pick themselves straight off the trees. In the autumn you'll find chestnuts, berries and mushrooms in the woods.

The old farmhouse has been carefully restored in order for you to enjoy the landscape and the surroundings in more modern accommodation. But the atmosphere and charm of a bygone age is still very much present. There is a swimming pool by the house, and a garden with table, chairs and sun umbrellas. There is also a barbecue to enjoy on lovely summer's days along with the sunshine.

The nearest restaurant is within 5 km, and there is a well stocked shop approx. 1 km away. If you are into riding, you can do so less than 7 km from here. The apartments are furnished in rustic style, and they all have a washing machine.
