Not everyone gets a chance to live the high life, but at Alla Posta dei Donini you get a chance to sleep like a King. The estate was built in the 17th century as summer residence for the Donini counts, who like all other respectable aristocrats had both a town and a country residence. In addition to their own mansions, Villa Laura and Villa Costanza, they also constructed a range of buildings for the servants, horses and the farmers who looked after their land.

Today all the buildings are beautifully restored with everything you could possibly want for a relaxed stay in exclusive surroundings. There are 48 rooms in the two old mansions, and here you still find frescos by the 18th century painters Giuli and Appiani.

The bedrooms have air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, en suite bathroom and internet connection. The former stables today house one of the two restaurants on site, which serves good Umbrian food. In the large park of more than 20,000 m² there are shaded paths, quiet corners and a swimming pool.

The hotel also has good conference facilities and car parking for up to 400 cars, 20 of which in a garage.
