| Put in a nutshell Fattoria La Loggia is everything you associate with Tuscany. The picturesque old estate is located outside San Casciano Val di Pesa in the heart of Chianti between Siena and Florence. Today the farm produces excellent wines ranging from a simple Chianti to spumante and white wine and super Tuscan and Chianti Classico Riserva. They also produce a fine olive oil with the mild rounded taste without too much acidity that is so characteristic for these hills. |

The owner is a patron of art, and a special feature of the farm is the annual number of artists allowed to stay free of charge on the condition they leave a work of art behind. Consequently pieces by many different artists are now on display in the main building, the apartments and in the park. Additional amenities include bikes, table tennis, 10 x 18 m swimming pool and barbecue all freely available to guests. |

The eleven apartments are all in the old buildings and largely furnished with antiques. All the apartments have telephone, satellite TV, radio and safe deposit box. 2-room apartment Ambasciatore (1st floor): -2-room apartment on the first floor sleeping 2-4. This apartment consists of a hall, kitchen, living room with fireplace, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bath tub. At extra cost it is possible to sleep two more on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). 2-room apartment Poppy (1st floor): - 2-room apartment on the first floor with sleeping loft and sleeping 2-5. This apartment has a hall, living room with kitchenette and double sofa bed, sleeping loft with sofa bed for one person (best suited for children under 14), bedroom with double bed and bathroom/toilet. At extra cost it is possible to sleep two more on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). 2-room apartment Balestruccio (1st floor): - 2-room apartment on the first floor with sleeping loft and sleeping 2-5. The apartment consists of a hall, living room with fireplace, small kitchen, bedroom with double bed, sleeping loft over the living room with single bed and bathroom/toilet. At extra cost it is possible to sleep two more on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). 3-room apartment Frantoio (ground floor): - 3-room apartment on the ground floor sleeping 4. This apartment has a small living room with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom with double bed, sleeping loft with double bed and bathroom with bath tub. 3-room apartment Dimora Reale (1st floor): - 3-room apartment on the first floor sleeping 4-6. This apartment consists of a hall, large living room with fireplace and kitchenette, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with two single beds (can be made into one) and two bathrooms one with bath tub. At extra cost it is possible to sleep two more on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). 3-room apartment La Torretta (1st floor): - 3-room apartment on the first floor sleeping 5-7. The apartment consists of a hall, spacious living room with kitchenette, bedroom with double bed and own bathroom with jacuzzi, bedroom with narrow double bed (140 cm wide), small open room in the attic over the living room with single bed. At extra cost it is possible to sleep two more on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). 4-room apartment Brighella (1st floor): - 4-room apartment on the first floor sleeping 6-8. The apartment consists of a hall, large living room with fireplace and kitchenette, two bedrooms with double bed (one with en suite bathroom/toilet with bath tub), bedroom with two single beds (can be made into one), and bathroom/toilet. The old monastery approx. 400 m from the farm has two more apartments enjoying greater privacy but located further away from the swimming pool. 3-room apartment Del Priore (1st floor): - 3-room apartment sleeping 4-6 located in the old monastery approx. 400 m from the farm. The apartment is on the first floor and consists of a hall, living room with fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms with double bed and bathroom/toilet. At extra cost is possible to sleep two more on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children). 4-room apartment Del Signor Conte (ground floor): - 4-room apartment sleeping 5-7 located in the old monastery approx. 400 m from the farm. The apartment is on the ground floor and has a spacious living room with fireplace and dining table, kitchen, two bedrooms with double bed, bedroom with single bed and two bathrooms, one with bath tub. The apartment has two entrances, one from the monastery and one from the garden. At extra cost is possible to sleep two more on the sofa bed in the living room (best suited to children).
