Le Valli lies on the little road leading up to Libbiano. There are 4-5 km to the towns of Libbiano and Pomarance, and approx. 20 km to Volterra.
|
The farm is managed by a Swiss married couple, Stephan and Christel, who serves breakfast and - twice a week by arrangement – supper in the restaurant on the farm, which also has a sitting room with fireplace and an outdoor terrace. There is also a small minimarket by the reception where you can buy everything you need for cooking and keeping the family happy: it sells pasta, wine and vegetable as well as ice cream and sweets for the children.

The farm is approx. 250 years old and is built from tuff stone, which is very rare in Tuscany. Outside there is a splendid swimming pool (18 x 7 m) overlooking Volterra and a large well kept garden of 50,000 m² with barbecue and pizza oven, playground, covered terrace for restaurant/bar and car park. Hammocks are also available and indoors there is billiards, table tennis and a fitness room.

The large building is today converted into 11 apartments and 5 bedrooms in addition to the couple's own residence. The apartments all have kitchen and bathroom, and if they have no private terrace a garden table, chairs and sun umbrella will be put at their disposal in the garden.
