Less than 20 km from the interesting town of Mantua, and approx. 35 km from the delightful Verona, you find the town Sustinente, which stands on the banks of the river Po. Agriturismo Ca'Guerriera is located here in Sustinente in an old 18th century villa that has been recently restored. The farm mainly produces wine but also grows a selection of vegetables and fruit.

In the farmhouse garden there are play activities for children, which they will enjoy as much as looking at the farm animals. Guests can also enjoy a walk among the many poplar trees, and there is a swimming pool and a restaurant on site.

On Ca'Guerriera the food is primarily based on the old local recipes often containing game as the main ingredient. These include pappardelle (a type of pasta) with hare, various kinds of duck, lasagne with squash, different kinds of roasts and, of course, polenta. The food is naturally accompanied by Corte Restara's own wines. At the same time they are proud to say that most of the produce used in the kitchen comes from the farm's own production. Cakes and other sweet things are also produced in house.

The wines are produced with much care and in accordance with traditions. The grapes are picked exclusively by hand and under close scrutiny. The vinification takes place under strict supervision during the entire process. The vineyards are primarily planted with French grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot in addition to one of Italy's own grapes, the great Sangiovese.
The bedrooms are all spacious and elegantly furnished in spite of the rustic materials chosen. The lighting in the bedrooms and in the public rooms on site is pleasant and "warm". All the bedrooms have a large en suite bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV and provision for internet connection.

Sustinente lies in a historically interesting area with towns like Mantua, Verona, Bologna and Modena within an hour's drive by car. Furthermore, if you are a guest at Ca'Guerreria you are close to some of Italy's very best restaurants, including Ristorante il Pescatore in Canneto sull'Oglio, Ristorante l'Ambasciata in Quistello and Il Desco in Verona. If you enjoy world-class food and wine you should treat yourself to a visit to one of these fine restaurants.
