Lovely little studio apartment located "on the roofs" above San Gregorio's square. The square that this and the rest of the San Gregorio apartments surround has a bar and restaurant and is a great communal meeting centre for fishermen and tourists alike

This apartment enjoys an outstanding view from the terrace and also has a covered terrace at the back, where you can relax in the shade, if the sun gets too strong. Just opposite the house is a lovely beach, and the views stretch right across to the Aeolian islands. On clear days you can see the volcano Stromboli behind the islands of Lipari and Vulcano.

Behind the houses runs the railway line between Palermo and Messina so you have to expect a certain amount of noise the few times a day when a train passes (last train leaves at 21:00 and the first about 06:00). Some find this noise disturbing, but others consider it so slight that it is not worth mentioning.
