The square that this and the rest of the San Gregorio apartments surround has a bar and restaurant and is a great communal meeting centre for fishermen and tourists alike. The apartments are small and over furnished for their size, but with that said it may not be noticed because of the atmosphere of the square and the lapping sea beckoning at the door step.

The railway line between Palermo and Messina runs behind the square. You should be prepared for a certain amount of noise the few times a day when a train is passing (the last train runs at 21:00 and the first one at 06:00). Some find this noise disturbing and others so insignificant that it is not worth mentioning.

- The entrance to the apartment is from the mountain side (the same side as the railway line). The apartment has a small kitchen/dining room, living room with access to balcony with sea views and dining table and double sofa bed, bedroom with double bed and single bed with window overlooking the railway line, and bathroom with toilet and shower. The apartment has TV and shares the use of a washing machine with Appartamento Conchiglia and Terrazza La Perla.
