The 3 star Hotel River is easily worth the extra half sun on our ratings scale. Located on the banks of the river Arno in the charming area of Santa Croce, this picturesque Hotel offers great views from its communal balcony and is a leisurely stroll from Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizzi Gallery.

As soon as you walk through the front door you will be made to feel welcome, not only by the staff but by the stylish and tastefully decorated reception, bar and sitting room. A buffet Breakfast is served in quaint dinning room on the lower ground floor just below the well kept internal garden and sun room.

The hotel has 38 rooms, all as clean as they are delightful. With high wooden beamed or elaborately painted ceilings they offer a cozy comfort with all the modern conveniences such as TV, Safe, telephone and air-conditioning. The bathrooms come with shower and hair drier and are of a decent size and immaculately kept.
The hotel also offers 24 hour reception and an internet booth in the foyer. Parking is also available but must be booked.
