The old farm of I Nidi di Belforte has today been elegantly renovated and now offers 9 guest apartments. The whole place is a testimony to the love and care Nara and Enrico have put into the project.


The apartments are exceptionally fine, often furnished with antique pieces and always in good taste. The views are wonderful, and although you are far away from the hordes of tourists, everything of interest is within easy reach. No wonder I Nidi di Belforte gets booked up quickly from June to September every year. The farm is built around a medieval watch tower a few kilometres from Dicomano and in reasonable distance from Florence. The altitude, 500 m above sea level, means that the temperature is pleasant even in the middle of summer.


The farm is surrounded by a large green lawn with swimming pool (7 x 14 m) and eight apartments, all well furnished and spacious. Facilities close by include tennis, river bathing in the valley, horse riding and golf. Trekking and walking in the woods are also great activities to do here.


The nearest shopping is in Dicomano – but it is also possible to buy some of the farm produce directly from the host couple Enrico and Nara.


Two room apartment Usignolo
- sleeps four (61 m²) on first floor. The apartment consists of a living room with kitchenette, fireplace plus double sofa bed, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower.
Two room apartment Balestruccio
- Sleeps four (54 m²) on the ground floor. The apartment consists of a living room with kitchenette, fireplace plus double sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, and bathroom with shower.
Two room apartment Capinera
- Sleeps four (59 m²) on the ground floor. The apartment consists of a living room with kitchenette, fireplace plus double sofa bed, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower
3-room apartment Pettirosso
- Sleeps 4 (58 m²) on the ground floor. The apartment consists of a living room with kitchenette and fireplace, two bedrooms with double bed and bathroom with shower.
3-room apartment Cinciallegra
- Sleeps five (65 m²) on the ground floor. The apartment consists of a kitchen, living room with fireplace and sofa. A small staircase leads you up to a raised level with  bedroom with double bed and single bed, bedroom with two single beds and bathroom with shower.
4-room apartment Nibbio
- sleeps six(78 m²) on two floors. The apartment consists of a living room with kitchenette and fireplace in the living room. On the first floor there are three bedrooms with double bed or two single beds and bathroom with shower. The old watchtower was originally part of this apartment, and the door to one room still has the medieval stone frame.
4-room apartment Cardellino
- 4-room apartment sleeps 6 (83 m²) on two floors. The apartment consists of a living room with kitchenette and fireplace and a double bedroom on the ground floor. You go up stairs to the first floor where there are two other bedrooms with double bed and a bathroom with shower.
4-room apartment Poiana
- La Poiana sleeps six to eight (108 m²) on two floors. The apartment consists of a living room with kitchenette and fireplace in the living room. On the first floor there are three bedrooms with double bed or two single beds and bathroom with shower.
House Casa Irene
- Is an detached house on two floors (120 m²) situated approx. 50 metres from the main building. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, big kitchen with fireplace, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bath tub. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with double bed. Each bedroom can have an extra bed in if required.  Casa Irene has its own large garden equipped with table and chairs.
