Hotel Meridiana is located in the historic centre of Sirmione a few steps from the spa baths 'Catullo'. The hotel is set in beautiful green surroundings and at the same time it is close to shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. The hotel is from the 1950s but has been totally restored. All the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, hair dryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, mini bar, safe and views.

On the ground floor there is reception, lounge, reading room, breakfast room and bar. On the floor above there is a wonderful sun terrace with views over the lake. The hotel also has a garden and parking, and it is suitable for disabled guests.

The hotel building has a poignant history. A young medical, student Benedetta Bianchi Porro, lived here and at the age of 27 she died from polio. Her strong faith and compassion attracted much attention and she is now in the process of being canonized by the catholic church.
