This 18th century building used to be a convent school. Casa Lorenzina lies in the hills above the sea with fantastic views over the sea and the coastline. The surroundings are beautiful and covered in lush Mediterranean vegetation scenting the air with a constantly changing southern aroma. The style at Casa Lorenzina is typical Italian meaning slightly dishevelled with a fair amount of chaos and loads of warm-heartedness! If you prefer well organized business hotels, you should stay away from Casa Lorenzina, but if you want genuine rustic Italian lifestyle then this is the place for you!

Pier Carlo will serve you a stupendous and totally irresistible breakfast. If you are used to Italian hotel breakfast, be prepared for a surprise. This is truly an experience that only genuine, healthy and fresh food can provide. Furthermore, you get to sample delicacies you will regret not having tried before. Everything is served on the shaded terrace outside the kitchen or in the middle of the garden surrounded by lush vegetation and the magnificent Mediterranean landscape at your feet.
All this is available only a short drive from the most enchanting towns on the French Côte d'Azur including Monte-Carlo, Nice and Cannes. You can wander along small paths down to the most wonderful sandy beaches. If you wish, and give enough notice, collection from the airport in Nice is available at an extra cost. Collection from the local railway station is free of charge. Bikes are for hire on site if you want to explore the area. It takes half an hour to walk to the centre of Ventimiglia.

Room Romantica
- The room Romantica can be directly accessed from the ground floor. You go through the door and into a little entrance hall, from where there is access to the new bathroom and the spacious bedroom with large double bed. The interior design is warm and intimate. In front of the window is a little table, where you can sit and enjoy the view of the sea.

To reach the double room Lorenzina you have to go up and down some staircases in the house amongst photos of old film stars and the other mementos Pier Carlo has collected over the years. The room is next to Romantica and is just as lovely with older and tasteful furniture. The bathroom is situated off the room. In front of the window is a little table where you can sit and enjoy the view of the sea.

Suite Etnica
Etnica is in the house and it is divided on to floors of 25 m² each. At the lowest level there is a sunny sitting room with double sofa bed and evt. extra bed plus bathroom / toilet. A stair made of olivetree brings you up to the spacious attic floor, where you finde a double bed. A room which is suitable for pairs looking for comfort or for families that wishes to stay all in the same room.

Because of its isolated location there is no public transport to Casa Lorenzina and we recommend you arrive by car. Please note that Casa Lorenzina is not recommended to families with children between 1 and 6 years old because of steep stairs both inside and outside the house.
