Alba is the last town but one in Val di Fassa and forms part of the skiing area generally known as Canazei. The three towns of this area are Campitello, Canazei and Alba, and they are within 4.3 km of each other. It only takes 6 minutes to drive from Alba to Campitello.
Canazei is the last but one town in the Fassa valley quite close to Campitello and Alba. The town consists of narrow quaint streets that run past old farmhouses, modern hotels and interesting shops. There are a number of activities on offer in the town as well as a lively nightlife.
Carano is a small village and today it has more or less merged with Cavalese.
You reach Carano by taking the Brenner motorway to Ora and turning off towards Cavalese
This town is known as Lake Garda’s northern treasure. The town has been inhabited since prehistoric times and still bears signs of the Roman era. Today the town is the biggest on the northern coast of the lake and as well as being a tourist magnet, has its own active business life.
