Porto Azzurro means azure blue sea in Italian, and not without good reason!
The town is on the western coast hidden in a narrow cove and is famous for its beach with wonderful rock formations combined with the white sand. You could be forgiven for thinking you had landed in the garden of Eden when arriving here.
