Giardini di Naxos is a popular resort for northern Europeans who have been going on holiday here for years.
This has had an influence on the town, which mostly resembles the northern coastal towns of Bibione, Lignano and Lido di Jesolo on the Adriatic. Giardini di Naxos is a typical tourist resort with well-equipped beaches and the full complement of holiday services. It is, however, not the place to get a feel of the real Sicily.
Giardini di Naxos is relatively close to Taormina, but we would recommend finding accommodation in other towns on Sicily and driving a little further if you decide to visit Taormina.
