Hotel Maga Circe (Lazio)
The tranquil hotel surroundings are covered in lush gardens with century-old palms and a grand salt water swimming pool. The Di Genua family has managed the hotel for decades. Young Antonella makes sure the guests have a comfortable stay whilst mother does wonders with pots and pans in the kitchen.
Agriturismo Ca' Cirigiolo (Marche)
Ca' Cirigiolo is located in a high hill country area, at about 600 meters above sea level and is surrounded by meadows, biologically cultivated land and wooded areas where you can gather mushrooms and go truffle hunting.
Fattoria di Castiglionchio (Tuscany)
This atmospheric farm enjoys a rural location 3 km from Rosano sull'Arno. The large villa is typically Tuscan and its towering profile is visible from both the Arno- and the Vicano-valley.
Agriturismo La Palazzina (Tuscany)
La Palazzina is definitely the place to go if you are willing to spend a bit more and get the crème de la crème both as regards location and interior design. This is not a place appealing to those who want partying, noise and loud music.
