Hotel Villa Susanna degli Ulivi is discreetly sheltered by nature's embrace and combines the beautiful contrast of Apennine mountain peaks with Abruzzo golden sandy beaches. The possibilities for adventure are endless; rent mountain bikes or a legendary Vespa and explore the hilly locality, visit local wine and oil producers, drive to the scenic Apennines (about 1 hour drive) and explore the raw Abruzzo wildlife and authentic mountain villages. The beautiful historic town of Ascoli Piceno in the Marche region is just 30 km away. Finally, one can laze on the beach in Martinsicuro (3 km away) where the hotel provides a beach service (umbrella and two sun beds) for a surcharge.
The hotel's restaurant serves both fish and meat dishes for hotel guests and non-guests. You can either choose to dine a la carte or opt for half board (surcharges). When the weather permits, you can dine on the veranda and take in the sea views. If you want to try other restaurants in the area, there is one just around 100 metres from the hotel or in Colonnella (about 1 ½ miles) and along the coast (about 3 km).
These 16 Classic rooms with views of the mountains behind (some also face the sea) are spacious and have Wi-Fi access (complimentary), satellite TV, air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a bathroom with a toilet, hair dryer and a shower. Several of these rooms can accommodate up to 4 people in total (extra beds are possible as a bunk bed). Some rooms are connected by a door.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful landscape surroundings. My family was just blown away by the beautiful view overlooking mountains and the sea.

Kind and friendly staff. They served some excellent breakfast and 4 course dinner for 20 Euro.
The pool-area is well maintained and there is some nice outdoor fitness facilities. There is a big mall just a few kilometers from there, which pleased our teenager daughters, but where you can do your groceries as well.
There is a local market as well where you can buy local wine and olive oil. We ate dinner at restaurant Zenobi - a lovely outdoor restaurant that has beautiful surroundings and local produced food. The location close to the sea was fantastic, as we could walk along the promenade and try one of the many different restaurants. It only takes around 2,5 hours to drive through the mountains from Colonella from Rome. We are just satisfied!
