Lake Bomba is situated in the Sangro valley in the southern part of Abruzzo between the region's large Nature Park and the Adriatic Sea. The landscape in the area is still unspoiled and it therefore makes an ideal place for a holiday in natural surroundings. From Centro Turistico Isola Verde it is possible to go trekking on paths overlooking the Maiella mountain or go sailing on the lake.
Centro Turistico Isola Verde enjoys a beautiful location on the lake shore. The facilities include a swimming pool, tennis court, football pitch and volleyball court. Mountain bikes, canoes and waterbikes are for hire on site. Evening entertainment is arranged during July and August.
There are also a restaurant, discotheque, bar, pizzeria and shop on site.
Outside high season special weekend breaks are arranged where guests are introduced to the typical local food and traditions, and archaeological trips are organized to Mount Pallano.
