Hotel San Marco is a small hotel in the middle of Vasto town which is considered to be one of the historic gems along the Adriatic coast. It is a coastline that has seen many beach resorts springing up over the years, and it is particularly charming to have a beach town with an atmospheric medieval centre also. And the wide sandy beaches are only approx. 2 km from the hotel in Vasto Marina.
Within about 100 m from the hotel is Vastos main shopping street - and of course it is also within walking distance to several eateries, including two restaurants (100 m). The hotel has a discount agreement with: Karibu where you can find both fish, meat dishes and pizza and La Veccia Vasto, a trattoria.

There is a small common terrace in front of the hotel and otherwise no other outdoor common areas. Inside there is a reception and a breakfast room where a breakfast buffet is served. The rooms are located on the 1st & 2nd floors - and there is no elevator (this is partly the reason why it only has 2 stars and not 3). Parking: Parking is free in front of the hotel (there are only 5 spaces which cannot be pre-ordered) and otherwise there is a parking garage approx. 200 metres away.
These 18 rooms are nicely decorated and all have Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV, air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a bathroom with a toilet, hair dryer and a shower. Very few rooms have a balcony.
