All apartments are equipped with air conditioning, flat screen TV, a safety deposit box, a balcony or terrace, private bathroom and a kitchenette. Acquacalda is the old town, where the workers from the nearby pumice quarry lived.
The beach opposite the hotel has a small kiosk which is also a coffee shop and cafe and is open all year. There is also a restaurant next to the hotel that is open in the summer. From the apartments and the hotel there are direct views of Panarea and Stromboli islands and side views of the beautiful islands of Salina and Filicudi. If you wish to rent a private boat, you can arrive in Salina in around 10 - 15 minutes and at Panarea in around half-an-hour.

Acquacalda is located 5 km from Canneto and 9 km from the centre of Lipari, and during the summer there are public buses that connect Acquacalda to the rest of the island. Alternatively you can rent a scooter on the island, or rent a car from Sicily and bring it over on the ferry. The buildings now used by Residence Acquacalda were originally used for storage of the famous pumice found here. Today they house 21 apartments in a classic Aeolian style which can accommodate 50 guests on three floors.
The apartments are spacious and fresh in their decor. All guests have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor areas of the garden and sundeck. Prices include breakfast, but don't expect too much as the Italians traditionally don't eat much in the mornings - they usually drink a small coffee and rush out the door ... but you can supplement this meal by utilizing the kitchenettes in the apartments.
