The Monterosas impressive hillsides with 18 peaks over 4,000 metres creates an incredible backdrop to the town.
You will find the beautiful old houses and the small central square create an incredibly atmospheric atmosphere. Also the old city of Saint Jacques where the road ends, is worth a visit. In the neighbouring town of Antagnod, you will find a choice of restaurants and pizzerias as well as a great view at sunset since it is located on the slope of Champoluc.

Antagnod is located in 1,710 metres altitude and Champoluc is slightly lower. The ski area goes up to 2,727 metres and is a bit of an "unknown" pearl.
By car, it is best to arrive from Geneva through the Mont Blanc tunnel. It is a 1½ - 2 hour drive from Turin airport and 2 - 2½ hours drive from Milan Malpensa Airport. From Milan Malpenssa take bus to Central Station, then on to Porta Garibaldi from here to Verres, which has bus service to Champoluc. The nearest train station is Verres, offering a bus service to Champoluc
