Apart from the incredible aesthetics of the buildings and the layout, you will find an amazing 600 m² swimming pool with a carved stone bottom, surrounding sun umbrellas and loungers, a bar, a Turkish bath, a restaurant (open during the long summer season), free bicycles and Wi-Fi in public areas.
We have seen a lot of top class accommodation over the years and rarely see enough evidence to award 5 suns. However, without doubt, Masseria Cervarolo fully deserves all five which is the highest grade awarded by In-Italia. The pictures speak for themselves really, but we will just add a few words to convey some essential details.

It is set amidst lush scenic farmland and beautiful countryside around six kilometres from Ostuni. Here you will find a typical masseria dating from the 15th Century with its classical stone structures and characteristic small trulli houses. It has been marvellously renovated and brought up to today's standards of comfort. The nearest beach is around 15 km away, but we doubt that even the lure of the ocean will be enough to tear you away from the idyllic Masseria Cervarolo!

Massari Cervalo is worth all its stars. The farm itself is nicely restored and all its interior is definitely bought with love and competence. Everything is just in harmony. That also goes for the food by the way. If you leave the breakfast or dinner table hungry, it's your own fault :) We also got the opportunity to get a cooking class. That is, in itself, an experience we wont forget. It's just a fantastic place with the kindest people.
We were here at a wonderful time of the year, where the fields had been ploughed, which made for a fantastic landscape. The ground is a nice brown colour and everything is so beautiful with the olive trees, which are thousands of years old. The city of Ostuni gave us a huge experience, which we need to get more of. A beautiful little city, where only the most central places were open. But a walk through the small streets revealed a lot of life and places to eat in the summer. The thing is to come back.
