Furthermore this is a very attractive location just off one of the area's most beautiful sandy beaches and just a stroll (about 1 km) from Peschici's charming white-washed town centre. Families will love this place.
After a busy day on the beach, you can head to the hotel restaurant is located on the ground floor (where breakfast is also served) for dinner in the evening. If you choose the half board option, then there is a choice of 3 starters and main courses to choose from and then side dishes and a dessert buffet. Inside there is a large hall with a reception and a Wi-Fi zone (only here). On arrival at the hotel you will find a large car park where there is usually plenty of space for everyone to park, or else there is a garage (on payment).

The beach can be easily reached about 150 m away along a small path where there are no roads to cross. It is not a private beach but the hotel has an agreement with the lido to provide a discount for hotel guests. There is also a piece of public sandy beach on the long wide beach at the foot of Peschici. You can use the large pool with sun loungers and parasols amongst beautiful pine trees which is an option for swimming and lounging if you don't want to pay to use the beach. You will also find a children's pool and a jacuzzi. In addition there is a wellness centre, tennis courts, volleyball court, soccer, table tennis, children's playground and a small gym (there are surcharges for some activities). In summer, there is an entertainment programme (from approx. mid June to mid September).
There are approx. 40 rooms of this type. Each has a balcony, air conditioning, a mini fridge, a safety deposit box, satellite TV (either tube TV's or LCD) and a bathroom with a toilet, hair dryer and a shower. The view from these rooms is towards the rear - perhaps with a partial ocean view, or a view towards Peschici town. Some rooms can accommodate up to two extra beds (not bunk beds).

The hotel and the room was in a good condition, and the cleaning was really good. The breakfast was good, but there could have been some more variation in the selection. The waiters were very helpful, and did what they could to make sure you got a nice experience. The pool area was fine. The beach is really great with nice sand and a good sandy bottom, and the water is clean and clear. There aren't that many restaurants close to the hotel, but it's easy to drive up into the old quarter of the town, if you have a car. Air conditioning was very effective, but didn't smell very nice. On our balcony there were a sewer ventilation, which didn't smell that great. We haven't pointed the last 2 things out, and all in all we have enjoyed our vacation at Hotel D'Amato.
