The hotel is located just outside of the historic part of Polignana a Mare. There is access to the town by car and a public car park next door to the hotel. For a fee, you can book a car parking space in advance.
The hotels facilities include a reception, a lounge / bar, a lift, a breakfast room (which serves an excellent breakfast buffet) with sea and town views of Polignano. It is also possible to enjoy magnificent views from the panoramic terrace of the hotel on the fourth floor.
If you don't feel like strolling in to the town, you can dine at the hotel's renowned restaurant Il Bastione which primarily serves traditional and regional dishes such as the classic pasta dish Orecchiette. In the nearby conference centre Nettuno, the hotel can arrange conferences for up to 250 people.
The hotel comprises 26 rooms which all have views of the sea / Polignanos old town and are divided into 3 different categories. The rooms, all of which can accommodate between two to four people, are tastefully decorated with stylish furnishings and equipped with all the mod cons that one would expect from a 4-star hotel including satellite TV, mini-bar, safety deposit box, telephone, internet access, air conditioning and a private bathroom with a toilet, shower and hairdryer.
Double Classic:
- There are 19 of these rooms, all with a balcony and a fine view over the coast and Polignanos old town. Rooms also have all the above facilities.
Double Superior:
- There are 4 Superior rooms, which feature a terrace / balcony with a sea view and also all of the above facilities.
Suite:
- The 3 suites have a panoramic veranda. Two of them have an outdoor jacuzzi, while the latter in turn has a sauna, a fitness corner and a four-poster bed.
Fantastically cool location, close to everything with an unrivalled view. The hotel is clean and tidy and has all the facilities you'll need. Compared to Italian standards, the breakfast was tremendously good.
Polignano lies very well for day trips. It is very fine, and there are a lot of good beaches within an easy driving distance. In the evening there are multiple really good restaurants in the town, along with the ice cream, which is also SO good.
When staying in this hotel, you really feel like you live just right, easy choice. Very good.
