Le Case di Berto are surrounded by pine trees, cacti, hibiscus bushes and exotic plants in a setting that very typically Calabrian.
Each house is different and they all have their individual characteristics. They are decorated with antique furniture, some of which comes from local churches, and have thick walls so that they remain cool in the summer. They are still however equipped with air conditioning for those really hot days. There is no swimming pool but the beach is just a stone's throw away, approx. 400 steps down. The beach is shared with guests of Casa Norelli also.

The houses sit in quiet and secluded grounds and each has a terrace and impressive views of the Mediterranean sea and the area's greenery. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance and otherwise it is 8 km to the wonderfully atmospheric city of Tropea. There is also free parking in the area.

beautiful location with private beach. However, in our case the weather was a little off, we had 2 playing children above us in a house and the cliff was in dire straits to be pruned and readied for the tourist season. Both the children as well as the pruning completely disturbed the peace and quiet we came for. All things combined, we left early...
When our car did not work anymore we did get enormous good help from the people on the estate however so we're not complaining. Just stating a fact.
Recommendation: keep the property adult only... -;)
