The farm is around 7 km from the Gulf of Squillace and about 15km away from the town of Zagarise. The nearest town is Sellia Marina (8 km) where you will find shops, restaurants, an ATM and a pharmacy.

Try the family's olive oil

The family that owns the farm have a long history, in fact the family's past generations have lived there since the 1400's. The most recent owner is married to Mary - an Irish lady, so English is also spoken here. Mary works with her daughter Sara and their many well behaved dogs work hard on the land to produce various types of olive oil, fruits, vegetables and poultry.

Stay amidst a natural paradise

If you enjoy walking in nature, this place has many kilometres of natural landscape to explore. You can walk along a stream that runs through the farmland and arrive at a beautiful lake with an old mill, or stroll through orchards of olive and orange trees. There are plenty of activities to enjoy at the farm, and throughout the year and you can expect to see and taste the seasonal produce.

Nice view from the pool area

You can make the most of the nice swimming pool (14 x 7 m) with a children's pool and water massage. There is a spacious sun terrace (350 m²) around the pool with sunbeds and umbrellas and a really great view across olive groves and of the sea on the horizon. In the courtyard there is parking space for guests, a communal barbeque area.

Old and new apartments

The accommodation is located either in the historic part (8 apartments), which have the most character, or in a newly constructed building at the main house (4 apartments). The accommodation in the newer building is particularly suitable for families with children, as they are more functional but lack the charm that is found in the original buildings. All apartments at the site have the option of air conditioning for a surcharge.

A holiday above the usual

We are very satisfied with this holiday place, which lies in the Calibrian farm country. Mary is a formidable host: discreet and accommodating, and she don't hesitates with letting the guests enjoy the farm produce. Fresh eggs, veggies, etc.

The frame around you at Agriturismo Castellaci are perfectly decorated, and is perfectly suitable for a family (we have 3 small children). The pool is very comfortable, and is made up of a small and big basin. The holiday place itself is lovely hidden out of the way, and i strongly recommend this place.

Authentic

A wonderful gem, where there is attention to historical details.
The view around the farm is just breathtaking. The animals of the farm is the most kindly animals you could imagine and the dogs are just following you peacefully while you explore the premise and to make sure that you are not going astray.
The small house is with double doors, that opens out to a small yard, where the chapel is built together with a tower and
an old barn.
You have the most wonderful view to the garden, where pomegranate, persimmon trees, herb garden and grapes where at your sight. The hostess is quite good at English and can help you with all kind of information if you want to explore nearby areas. And we were greeted with the greatest hospitality you can imagine! We've got a basket of fresh oranges, freshly laid eggs, a bottle of homemade olive oil and a jar of homemade honey. The hostess Mrs. Luca is very knowledgeable and can tell you the local history, so everything becomes so authentic.
