Acciaroli is a very quaint little town, located on the Mediterranean coast in the beautiful Cilento area south of Naples. The town is small enough that all the locals know each other and they meet at the small cosy bars and restaurants at the harbour during the evenings.
The harbour is the centre of Acciaroli and there is both a marina and a port for small local commercial fishermen. The town's main attractions include an old tower and the church, which are both also located at the harbour. Acciaroli also has a boardwalk and a long beach that tourists visiting the area use at almost any time of the year.

Acciaroli and Cilento Coast is a perfect holiday destination for those who love nature, but at the same time would like to combine their stay with a beach holiday and cultural experiences. It takes only around an hour to drive to the famous Greek temples of Paestum, and the Amalfi Coast, Naples and Vesuvius are all near enough for a day trip. There is a good bus service to Salerno from here.
