We would state that “resort” is actually a wrong chosen name, as there are only 7 units available here at Amalfi Holiday resort. Although you don’t have the Amalfi view over the coast, you can enjoy a lovely view over the mountains and the garden.
Amalfi Holiday Resort is a restored old paper mill and located at about a good 5 minutes walk from the center of Amalfi. The beach takes about 7 minutes to go on foot. In front of the resort you can find a local bus stop taking you up or down to town and beach. Note that the beaches tend to get quite busy in high season and you need to be on time to rent your sunbed and umbrella for the day.
Amalfi is one of the main towns belonging to the Amalfi coast. The town is actually quite small, though you can easily loose your way during your exploration of the narrow white alleys. Browsing the shops for souvenirs and local products, including every variation on the famous lemon products. You can taste the Amalfitana specialties, such as the strong limoncello. There are plenty of nice bars where you sit down for a drink, eat a pastry and watch the world go by. A stroll along the sea front is another great relaxing walk. When you're tired of admiring Amalfi's charms, you can take a stroll up the valley through lemon groves and old paper mills. For people that like hikes, the steep mountainsides offer many challenging walks. The hike trail named “the path of the gods” is a lovely and spectacular trail and nearby. It offers one of the best panoramas of Italy so they say.
Although Amalfi is a great attraction by itself, though we definitely suggest to rent a car for a day or so, or embark on an excursion to many of the great sights nearby. All within easy reach you can find Sorrento, Napels, Positano and of course Pompeii and the islands of Capri and Ischia.

Amalfi Holiday Resort is small and offers a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting and moreover important, good comfort and hospitality. If you like value for money, to be independent and consider staying in Amalfi region, you might want to try this place. The large gardens are built on terraces and even feature a stylish swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. Enjoy the green space and the view from your sun bed, read your book or have a little siesta. In any case your apartment features good comfort to enjoy activities or just relaxation, up to you.

In total Amalfi Holiday Resort features 5 apartments and 2 rooms. All apartments and rooms are slightly different but all offer the same style and comfort. The rooms come with air conditioner, sat TV (small) wifi, safe and bathroom with shower or bath. The apartments have an additional kitchen with washing machine and dish washer. Some units have a private balcony or veranda. Apartments and rooms are cleaned weekly and both come with a final cleaning fee of 50 euro.
