The town of Amafli gave its name to one of the most beautiful coastlines in all of Italy, if not the most beautiful. Long ago UNESCO already appointed this coast to the World most well know and recognized heritage list, and here in the pictoresque town you find Hotel Amalfi, a small family owned hotel, a stone's throw from the cathedral and in the city's historic center.

The hotel is an ordinary tourist class hotel and has been a favorite among North European travelers for many years. You stay near the beach and basically in the center of town, close to the church and of course, the center of the Amalfi Coast, with its many possibilities for excursions and visits to quaint towns, that lie like pearls on a string along the coast. There is direct access from the Hotel Amalfi to the town's main street which is just a few steps away. Through the narrow streets, you easily walk to the small Piazza dei Doghi, which is one of the city's most lively squares.

Breakfast on the roof terrace

During the summer season, breakfast is served on the rooftop, and while you eat local products from the Campagnia region, you can enjoy views of the city.
Do not expect great far views as the hotel is located in the very narrow streets of the historic center. Though a great place to wake up and your morning esresso in the sun.

Simple yet colourful rooms

The rooms are simple but warm and colourful.
There is free WiFi in the hotel and in the rooms, and besides you have your a bathroom with shower, safe, air conditioning (in season) and a minibar.

Transport and parking

If you arrive by car, Hotel Amalfi facilitates that you can park in their garage if there is space of course. It is quite pricy at 25 euros day. It is also possible to park in the public car parks in the city. We would recommend parking garage Luna Rossa, which costs about 15-25 euros. day depending on the season. The parking garage has direct access from Amalfi center through a tunnel. It is expensive to park in the area, so consider how many days you will need a car and rent it if necessary. It is easy to get to and from Amalfi by public transport, as all buses on the coast terminates in Amalfi. Buses go straight from Salerno to Amalfi if you travel by train from Rome.
