You would struggle to find somewhere more authentic than this apartment on the Amalfi coast that would suit a couple or a small family. It is located above the small town centre of Atrani, overlooking both the coast, the beach and the town.
You can arrive in the towns of Atrani and Amalfi on foot since both are approx. 500 metres away. It is not possible to park at the apartment in Atrani, but there is a garage space in Amalfi that you can use for a fee. In the quiet centre of Atrani you will find a few restaurants and bars / cafes and more choice of entertainment in the more frenetic Amalfi. The cosy beach in Atrani is a short work away or you can take one of the regular buses to tour the coast and other coastal towns from the nearby bus stop.

- The apartment is homely and consists of a combined living / dining room with a table, chairs and a sofa, a large well-equipped kitchen with an oven and a freezer. There are two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. The living room leads out to the beautiful, furnished terrace, partially covered by small bamboo roofs to provide shade. Note: There are approx. 160 steps from the town up to the apartment.
It is soon 14 days since, that we came home from the beautiful Amalfi coast (town Atrani).
Now it is the second time, that we were in the apartment, and we want to say, that it has been nicely renovated. And a fine apartment for 4 people plus 1. We were 2 groups and all worked well. Even though we were delayed, we called the office at the Amalfi, to Paula. We could tell, that we knew the bar, where the key could be collected, and we knew the 170 steps up to it. Then she also got off on time. We enjoyed the beautiful view on the terrace (the picture from In-Italia doesn't lie) and a lovely place to eat in the small town of Atrani, which is a little town, which has all the stores and shops you need.
It does need to bed said though, that you need to bring something for Sunday morning, since all the stores are closed. (There was sometimes a litre of cold water in the fridge). Otherwise it is a 10 min walk to the Amalfi.
The return of the apartment worked fine after we made a deal with Paula. She came right on time. Not the last time we will be there. Is recommended.
Thank you to In-Italia for the good information and the reminder-email you get a week before departure.
Kind regards Ole, Hanne, Flemming and Jane.
