Don't go to Palazzo Vingius with everything, that you own, to get to the hotel, you need to climb a stair with 103 steps, and there is no elevator. Charming hotel, room with balcony, with a view over the Minori bay and the Amalfi coast. The car trip is fantastic, visually speaking, but stressing, because the small roads twist a lot. The view over the villages along the Amalfi coast is spectacular and fantastically beautiful.
Be cautious regarding luggage, pack you stuff in a single suitcase, which isn't too heavy. Maybe wash your clothes during the trip. A boat ride to Capri gives you an opportunity to enjoy the view of the coastal towns and the rocks from another perspective. There is a lot of good restaurants in Minori, especially La Locanda Del Prescatore, which lies within walking distance of the hotel. The villages themself are less known than Positano, but definitely worth a visit.
