This charming B & B is based in a historic building that was once the monastery Donna Regina Vecchia. Today, a family of artists have transformed the old monastery into a cosy bed and breakfast, perfectly located to spend time in this fascinating city.

Watch the sunset

B & B Regina has a spacious common living room which opens on to a balcony where there are several small round tables and chairs. Here you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with views of the sun setting behind the domes. The large living room is stylishly furnished with sofas and armchairs and lots of interesting art on the walls. A wide hallway leads to the cosy kitchen and the bedrooms. The lobby of the building might seem a bit dull but it does have the advantage of having a lift.

Unique decoration

Each room has been individually furnished and decorated by Donna Gabriella, the owners artistic wife and you will appreciate the subtle attention to details. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. All rooms have an interior staircase either leading to a bathroom and/or other sleeping facilities. Two of the five rooms can accomodate 4 people. Note that it is forbidden to smoke!

Dine in style on request

If you wish, you can make a special request for the manager - Mimmo to prepare a special Neapolitan evening meal for you and your party. You will dine in true style in the antique atmospheric dining kitchen at the house. Mimmo is an excellent cook and a great wine connoisseur. We highly recommend that you try this experience.

There is a car park approx. 200 m from the house, which costs around 20 Euros a day.

Lovely! One night only is too short, stay for longer!

A great stay at this family home in the heart of Napoli. Signora Gabrielle welcomed us into her house with great hospitality. Previously a convent, the home is now owned by a family who filled the high ceiling passages of the apartment with a selection of beautiful artwork (most are for sale). The breakfast (especially the omelettes) prepared by Signora Gabrielle herself was very special - and made us wish we had stayed another evening and booked a dinner with the lady of the house as well. Next time definitely. Will come again!

Very accommodating

B&B Donna Regina is located a bit outside of the centre of the city (but close to tourist attractions like the museum Madre and Capodimonte), but the room is very accommodatingly decorated, and the owner/staff were very pleasant, and takes care of the guests and all their needs. The breakfast is royal. Don't hesitate to book a room here.

Present, Personal & Inspiring

Naples is a fantastic city as a starting point for the entire region. The very personal kindness, which marks our host and the few employees are unique. In the middle of the crowd of Naples, this is a rare sanctuary in the height of the 5th floor with absolute silence. This place oozes of culture and history, and a distinct taste for food culture, art and easy living. We return, when we are to visit the many temptations of the region. We have found a base in Naples. Don't tell anyone!

Lovely accommodation

We were in Naples with some friends and unfortunately only stayed in Donna Regina for one night.
This place was special and charming and we enjoyed their well-cooked Italian breakfast in the kitchen. The host was very friendly and gave us a lot of tourism information about Naples.
A shame we had only planned one night!

All expectations were met.

We were two adults with two children, at the age of 5 and 8, on an extended weekend. B&B Donna Regina lies in a very authentic area of Naples, with a lot of small streets and the area seems very "south Italian", with lots of life and activities in the street and cigs all day long. There are plenty of small, good places to eat, and the host Dominic is able to deliver, in both recommendations for attractions and places to eat.

The breakfast table was as it should be in Italy, with bruschetta, omelets, nutella, and sand cake, along with coffee and fresh juice.
