Well located and plenty to do
Hotel Royal Continental is with 397 rooms one of the larger hotels in the program of In-Italia. It is a privileged hotel with its location right on the promenade, parallel to the shoreline. Along the promenade you find dozens of lovely trattorias, bars serving typical Napolitan dishes. The location is an ideal place to head out and explore the city.
Many of the sites are within walking distance, such as the historical centre with Piazza del Plebiscito and the famous San Carlo Theatre. From the hotel you can enjoy a great view over Castel Dell’Ovo, an ancient Greek and later Roman castle. And at 15 minutes walking you find the Galleria Umberto, a 19th century shopping gallery with little fashion boutiques and perhaps the most stylish interior in the country. As well located at a 15 minute walk is the port, from where you can take the boat the Ischia, Capri or even Sorrento.
