It was once an uninhabited bay where passing boats could moor, but there is now a small square in the town with a number of restaurants and cafes.
From the square, it takes just a few minutes to walk down to the sandy beach. The town is surrounded by pine forests which invite you to talk walks and enjoy the scenery. Amalfi, Pompeii and Naples are around 80km, 120 and 150 kilometres from Ogliastro Marina.
